Car Accident Lawyers

Your car accident case is unique. No other Pennsylvania car accident victim suffered exactly the same injuries in precisely the same way. In other cases, the at-fault driver’s identity is different. So is the careless behavior that caused the collision. The details of auto insurance coverage are different. Even the way your accident impacts your life isn’t quite the same as any other victim in any other case.
But those injuries did affect your life – in very serious ways. To get the money you need to put your life back on track, you’ll need help from car accident lawyers in PA. But not just any lawyers. You need someone with experience handling thousands of claims, but also the compassion to treat you as an individual, not a case number. You need Console & Hollawell.
With 20 years of experience, a reputation for providing outstanding personal service to every client, and offices located in Pennsylvania and Center Valley, we have everything you need in a personal injury law firm.

Always Going the Extra Mile for Car Accident Victims

At Console & Hollawell, we’ve been representing car accident victims for a while now – more than 20 years, in fact. So we know that a serious crash affects your life in a lot of ways, and that you need support beyond the bare minimum of what you expect a lawyer to do.
Here’s how our PA car accident attorneys go above and beyond to help you after a crash:
  • We’ll handle your property damage claim so you can get your car fixed (or get the money to replace a totaled car) with less hassle.
  • When it comes to car accident injuries, medical billing problems are more common than you would believe. If a medical billing issue arises in your case, our dedicated in-house PIP specialist will handle it for you.
  • We’ll negotiate any medical bills you haven’t paid by the end of your claim. We have saved clients tens of thousands of dollars by negotiating with their doctors.
  • … And we’ll do it all at no cost to you.
These are aspects of a claim many lawyers don’t want to handle, because there’s nothing in it for them. But Console & Hollawell works for you. We think anything we can do to make your life easier and make sure more of your money stays in your pocket (where it belongs) is worth doing.

Pennsylvania Car Accidents

Pennsylvania PA Crash Rates

The statistics are alarming.
Every year, well over 1,000 people die in accidents on Pennsylvania roadways, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT)’s JustDrivePA website reported.
And despite a significant decrease in total crashes since the mid-1990s, Pennsylvania roadways still see more than 120,000 collisions every year, PennDOT reported.
More than 3,000 of those crashes leave victims with major injuries.
Unfortunately, our area of the state sees more than its fair share of serious accidents. Nine out of the 10 Pennsylvania counties that see the most car crashes are concentrated in the Southeastern PA region:
  1. Philadelphia
  2. Montgomery
  3. Bucks
  4. Lancaster
  5. Chester
  6. Berks
  7. Delaware
  8. Lehigh
  9. York
In Pennsylvania, crashes are common on roadways of all kinds. It’s hard to tell which routes are the most dangerous. State highways see way more crashes, injuries, and fatalities than other types of roadways, but local streets are the roadways that see more injuries per mile traveled, PennDOT reported.
Certain roads are more accident-prone than others – and they’re not always the ones you would imagine. Sure, there are infamously dangerous highways, like:
  • I-76 (the Schuylkill Expressway)
  • The Pennsylvania Turnpike
  • Crash-plagued bridges on I-83, I-80, and Route 30
But local drivers often complain about the crashes on other roads, too, such as:
  • Roosevelt Boulevard in Philadelphia
  • Market Street in Harrisburg
  • Industrial Highway near York.
And Bensalem, PA, in Bucks county happens to be home to “the most dangerous intersection in America,” Knights Road and Street Road, TIME reported.

Console & Hollawell’s Experience in PA

At Console & Hollawell, we’ve handled car accident cases across Pennsylvania, from Bethlehem to Bristol Township, Reading to Lancaster, Malvern to Chester – and, of course, in Philadelphia and the Lehigh Valley. We’ve worked in Philadelphia, Montgomery, Bucks, and Lancaster Counties, and beyond.
Over the two decades we have represented car crash victims across Southeastern Pennsylvania, we’ve seen crashes caused by drivers who were distracted‚ drunk‚ fatigued, and simply irresponsible.
We have come across collisions that resulted from faulty tires‚ brakes‚ steering columns‚ and other manufacturer’s defects. We’ve also seen accidents caused by dangerous road conditions, including poor road signs‚ obstacles in roads‚ and roads in disrepair.
And we’ve fought to get clients in situations like yours the full amount of money they deserve – winning them upwards of $30,000,000 in compensation over the course of our career.

Understanding Pennsylvania Auto Accident Insurance

In Pennsylvania, driving without insurance is illegal – and rightfully so. But just because we purchase auto insurance doesn’t mean we understand how it works, what it covers, and what to expect if we ever need to use it.
Many of the clients who come to us for help with their Pennsylvania car accident claims don’t understand what they’re entitled to, or what their responsibilities are, under their own auto insurance policies.
